Case Result
In a multi- defendant, several-thousand-plant marijuana case, our client received six months incarceration, as opposed to the other defendants in the case, each of whom received in excess of ten years imprisonment. In another matter, we were able to persuade federal prosecutors in Vermont to dismiss the indictment against our client in a multi-state federal drug conspiracy, in which the other defendants received multi-year prison terms. The success of our approach frequently results from the preparation and filing of creative, compelling Motions to Suppress evidence and statements, which some prosecutors are unaccustomed to litigating, particularly in State cases.
